Apologies for the artistic silence, it was the result of things and stuff and shenanigans.
Thought I'd break myself back in with a soft smudgy painting, and I think I may have overdone it on both the soft and the smudgy. I just finished reading all seven Potter books back-to-back in preparation for the upcoming movie, and (predictably) I'm in a weepy oh-poor-Severus-you-misunderstood-darling mood. The Prince's Tale is my favourite chapter of any book ever written ever.

And this is wonderful by the way. This was the saddest moment in all of the books. I had a feeling through the whole thing he had a thing for lilly, but I never knew they were going to go into the story of his love loss in such a heart breaking way! Argh.
